SIMPLE CREMATION PACKAGE $1,295.00

Price effective as of November 1, 2014
Summerdale Funeral & Cremation Service offers an onsite cremation facility, so your loved one will not leave our care.
The service area includes all of Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, Grundy and Will Counties.

PACKAGE INCLUDES:

  • Staff available to make the arrangements at a location convenient to you or your family (Residence, Office, Hospital, Nursing Facility, etc.)
  • Transfer of the deceased within our service area (24 hour availability)
  • Alternative Cremation Casket
  • Simple Cremation urn
  • Medical Examiner / Coroners Cremation Permit Fee
  • 2 Certified copies of death certificate
  • Local delivery of cremated remains and legal papers (example: Death Certificates)
  • Cremation Fee
  • 30 Minute Private Viewing for Immediate Family

We also provide the following assistance at no additional charge:

  • FREE- Internet Guestbook and Obituary with photographs.
  • Arranging memorial services
  • Filing all forms of government claims (V.A., Social Security, Public Aid, etc.)
  • Filing life insurance claims
  • Arranging for the final disposition of the cremated remains  (cemetery, scattering, etc.)


Memorial Service at Your Church Under Supervision of Summerdale Funeral & Cremation Staff

  • All items in the Simple Cremation Package
  • Summerdale Funeral & Cremation Staff to supervise the church service
  • 100 Laminated Memorial Cards
  • Register Book.
  • Eden wood urn included.

Memorial Service Package at Our Chapel

Family and friends may gather at our location for a morning or evening memorial visitation and service following their loved one's cremation.

  •  All items in the Simple Cremation Package
  •  Morning or evening use of the chapel ( 3-8PM is typical.)
  •  100 Laminated Memorial Cards
  •  Register Book.
  •  Eden Wood Urn
  •  Tabletop Vase of Fresh Mixed Seasonal Flowers

Total Cost $2,995.00

Graveside Service (No Cremation)

Family and friends will gather at the cemetery for a committal service immediately before burial. There is no viewing of the deceased and embalming is not required.

  • Includes all services as indicated in the Simple Package.
  • Basic preparation of the deceased.
  • The use of funeral director and staff for graveside service.
  • Service vehicle for transportation to the cemetery.
  • 100 Laminated Memorial Cards
  • Arrangements with Cemetery
  • K-Flair Casket 

Total $2,495.00

Traditional Funeral

An evening visitation may be held with a funeral procession to church the following day.

  • includes all services as indicated in the Simple Package
  • Embalming and preparation of the deceased.
  • The use of funeral home and staff to plan and supervise an evening
  • Visitation and funeral service the following day.
  • 100 Laminated Memorial Cards
  • Register Book
  • Use of Silk Flowers
  • K-Flair Casket for Cremation or Burial
  • Eden Wood Urn-Cremation
  • Hearse

Flameless/Green Cremation

  • Includes all services as indicated in the Simple Cremation Package

Summerdale Funeral & Cremation Service is partnered with a local Cemetery. If burial or inurnment space is needed, we can offer a discounted price if you entrust your loved one to our care.

We also have an extensive list of network funeral homes outside of our location in the Chicagoland area. Our staff is available to discuss pricing and options at any of the network funeral homes near you.
